OUR COFFEE:
Since Nana Tom's opened it has always been our aim to provide the best tasting coffee around. We have been on a long journey making and testing coffee. After 4 years of trying we think we have arrived at our chosen coffee partner.
Caffe Vinci are a local North East based company that have provided us with strong links to Italy's finest coffee and coffee equipment. Caffe Vinci have helped Nana Tom's provide our customers with some of the finest coffee in the world and with our constant passion to improve we believe we offer some of the best coffee around.
Each day all our coffee equipment is cleaned and prepared for up to 15 minutes before we make our first coffee. We then weigh our coffee to make sure each shot holds exactly the right amount before extraction to give you a perfect cup of coffee. Once the coffee is weighed its tampered with the right amount of pressure (12-15kg) before its placed into the group-head of the coffee machine and the espresso extraction begins. 25 seconds is all it takes to produce a perfect espresso but it takes a lifetime to master this fine art.
Our baristas are fully trained in making just about any coffee you can think of, yes we have a list of customer favourites but everyday we strive to make something new and exciting for our customers. Latte art is another passion at Nana Tom's not only does it make our coffee look superb it also makes sure our baristas are making your milk based coffee to perfection.....look out for something interesting in your next coffee.

ESPRESSO
A short and intense shot of pure coffee, the base of all our coffee.
AMERICANO
A shot of espresso topped with hot water. This Coffee can be drank black or with milk / cream.
LATTE
Steamed milk topped with a shot of espresso also known as Caffe Latte, for those who like a milky coffee.
CAPPUCCINO
A shot of espresso topped with creamy foamed milk and optional chocolate sprinkles, a creamy milky coffee.
MOCHA
A shot of espresso mixed with hot chocolate powder topped with creamy foamed milk and chocolate sprinkles, for the cappuccino lover with a sweet tooth.
